2009Dec 09 - Marvellous! Our hosts even provided Christmas Dinner. When it got colder we just threw another dog on the bed. Lots of lovely long walks and a trip to the beach. Fantastic weather every day - blue skies with temperatures 35-40c. Too hot to explore very far, however we tasted much of the local wine in a short week! Ideal Morgan driving country. Mike and Jo are perfect hosts, very welcoming and provided an excellent "StarterPack" of fruit, wine etc on arrival. Their personal guides to the area are well researched and ideal to make the most of the stay. The pool is the best we have come across as part of a gite hire and the bed one of the most comfortable! I thought we were in the middle of nowhere, but we were so busy we had to stay an extra week, and plan to come back again as soon as we can. The location, the hosts and especially the dogs, are perfect. Even in the rain the vines were beautiful. Mike's booklets made it all so easy.
